Muffaletta Sandwich

This is a sandwich for everyone, good flavors wrapped up in a big loaf of french bread. Serves 4 people for lunch well.

  • 1 loaf french or italian bread
  • 1/2 cup red peppers (optional to taste)
  • 1/4 cup parsley fresh is best
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chopped hot or mild peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • lettuce
  • 6 oz deli turkey breast
  • 6 oz deli ham
  • 6 oz provolone cheese


  1. First cut the loaf of bread in half, pull out some of the soft center of each piece leaving the shell 1 1/2" thick. In a bowl combine the pepper, parsley, oil, vinegar, hot peppers, garlic, oregano and pepper. Spoon out the mixture and spread on the top and bottom pieces of the bread. Later the turkey, cheese, ham and lettuce to your liking, put the last of the mixture on the middle before putting it together and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours for best taste.
